History of Savior Test Type Model The Savior Test Type was the second Savior Robot to be designed and manufactured by the Savior Underground. Although this robot was constructed before the Prototype was modified, it was basically the same robot with the standard equipment issued to it. Even so, this was a more refined version of the Savior Prototype, and it was constructed much faster and was more efficently than its predecessor. Savior Test Type Model Invaded by the 23rd Angel It was during the Test Type's initial activation that the robot was struck down by a lightning bolt. The 23rd Angel, Barakiel, had descended upon it and the Savior was now under its complete control. The Angel had such power that by utilising the core sample set in the Savior's chest, it was able to clone an Evangelion within its body armour. Not only that, but it also gained the uncanny ability to control and manipulate electricty. It even had the ability to fly and control other EVAs. The Tradgedy of the Savior Test Type Model Even though EVA-01 did not succumb to the Angel's control, it was not the one who destroyed the Angelic Test Type. It was EVA-ALPHA, who became berserk during its combat against the dummy plug operated EVA-01, which annihilated the Savior robot. Although nothing of the Savior Test Type managed to survive the battle, James survived without recieving too many fatal injuries.
